Page 88 has a great review of the band… We have a 3 star rating and what’s more?? Our vision for the album and our strengths have been described so beautifully and correctly – that if anyone wanted a 3rd person view on the album…. I think it would be the most fair to go by that review. That apart… Rolling Stone Review Man! To be in it is divine.

The Album “Stitched” is no. 1 on the Rythm House International charts, followed by Yanni, Sade, MJ…..and so on and so forth… Thank you to all of you – who in this Itunes era, actually took the trouble to go and buy a copy.

Thank you to all the people who whole heartedly supported the band at HRC! You are amazing!

For us, the whole experience was phenomenal. We’re still trying to get our minds around the scale, the importance, the significance, and the emotion behind the event. Everybody in the band is pretty charged up and it’s a wonderful feeling to know that there are people who want to listen to and get moved by what we have to say.

On another refreshing note, thanks to all who picked up CDs, posters. I think we actually ran short of CDs at the venue! For those of you who couldn’t get a copy, get in touch with us and we’ll tell you where you can find one quickly.

Hope to see you at our gigs and dont hesitate to walk up to the band and introduce yourself. We like to put faces to names and online avatars

“Stitched” Launch at Hard Rock Cafe, Mumbai, 11-Mar-2010

It is with great pleasure and pride that we formally announce the launch of our debut Album “Stitched” at Hard Rock Cafe on the 11th of March, 2010.

The Echoes always dreamed of being a band who would be known for their original music and the dream has come true.

The Album has been signed on by World Renowned Label EMI/Virgin.

We would really like you to be there as this event, would be a huge chapter in the history of The Echoes.

The Album has 10 tracks and it is a theme album. It’s like a musical story about the various struggles that everyone faces when they set out to follow their dreams and be something. The journey has it’s ups and downs, practically sowing the outcome that stitches the garment of that individual’s life. Hence the album is called, “Stitched.”

One thing to look forward to in the album would be the fact that…. no two songs sound the same….! We have so many influences within the band that every song has a different sub – genre that it could be related to. Our influences range from Classic Rock to Modern Day Rock and there is a song for everyone in the Album…

I would also like to state over here that Faizan Khatri is the Chief Illustrator and Designer of this Album… He has been able to give a visual appeal to the Album through his hand drawn sketches and renderings on the album art. They are a treat for the eyes and give visual appeal and deeper meaning to the music in the album.

We have put so much thought in the album cause we hope that everyone who buys the album, at least once, sits themselves down and reads the entire inlay with the lyrics as they listen to the music to be able to fully enjoy the story of this album.
